The Government Stimulus Plan

Rewarded now or Penalized later

Imagine, improving your office, its efficiencies, its technology, and your cash flow -- and getting paid to do it? That’s right, all of this is possible, and more, and best of all, the government will give you money to make these changes, and help you become compliant.

Earlier adopters of EHR technology are entitled to receive significant sums of money the government just earmarked for medical practices like yours – but that’s only by adopting EMR technology today.

Act Now to get the Most Money Available

By acting right now, you and your office will receive the largest sums of money available to do this – depending upon when you implement your new technology system you may be entitled to receive up to $63,750.

The Congressional Budget Office

Estimates the total outlays of over $36 billion dollars for incentive payments.

They also estimate that these costs will be off-set by over $15 billion in reductions in health expenditures and in penalties resulting in the net costs of around $20 billion.

The HITECH Act portion of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA) includes substantial incentives for hospital and physician adoption of EHR technology. These incentives will flow through Medicare and Medicaid payments .The incentives will begin in 2011 and run through 2015 for Medicare and 2021 for Medicaid.

Beginning in 2015, Medicare will start applying penalties to hospital and physicians who fail to adopt EHRs. The Act does not include any Medicaid penalties.

Let us help you understand the benchmarks and timelines so your office can receive the largest sums of money that you may be entitled to. Find out more......
